Guy LaHaye

After a courageous battle with cancer, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Tuesday, January 28th, 2014, Guy passed away peacefully with his wife by side, at 39 years of age. Beloved husband of Sandy (nee Stanesic). Proud and loving father of Lilianna (8) and Luka (4). Son of Guy and Carol LaHaye. Brother of Steve (Rebecca). Son-in-law of Branko and Jadranka Stanesic. Brother-in-law of Chrissy Poole (Derek). Uncle of Brandon, Madison, Sophia and Olivia. Grandson of Evelyn LaHaye, Len and Olga Fisher, Zoran Dobranic and Dorothy Smith. Guy will be fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special Thanks to the Medical Staff and Nurses at C6 Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their compassionate care – especially Karen. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, February 2nd from 1 – 3 and 6 – 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH (905 Giffard Street, Whitby) on Monday, February 3rd at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to a fund for Lilianna and Luka would be appreciated.
