Gwendolyn Marguerite passed away on September 26th, 2010 with her children and grandchildren by her side. She was in her 77th year. Gwen was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Marguerite Ross, and her brothers, Alex and Robert. She will be dearly missed by her children Barbara (Kevin), Ross Prokop, Lexie (Jim), Patricia Prokop and Michael Prokop (Sue), and her grandchildren Dana, Anthony, Sara and Nicole. Gwen was born and raised in Mattawa, Ontario and will be returning home to rest. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). As an expression of sympathy, remembrances made to the Celiac Association or Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. It was a long journey and one that was hers to take.
