Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, January 7th, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth. He will be sadly missed by his children Gary (Fay) and Michelle Russell (Rob), and his grandchildren Shannon, Kelsey, Amanda, Alana and Julia. Lovingly remembered by his longtime companion and friend Jackie Ricketts. Dear brother of Lyla Laverick. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
