Peacefully, with her family by her side at her residence on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 at 87 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Wallace Elmer Holmes. Loved mother of Brian, June (predeceased), Donna, Sue and her husband Reg Wiltshire. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Doug, Yvonne (predeceased), Jim (Nicole), Matt (Jacque), Jeff (Karley), Mike (Melissa) and Bryan (Kelly), and her great grandchildren Jay, Kyle, Tyler, Larissa, Mikey, Jackson, Taylor, Cavan, Rachel and Faith. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Isabel Deavy and by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, October 6th from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, October 7th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
