Passed away at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto on Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Banfield (2002). Loving mother of Colleen Vaillancourt (Ed), Stanley Jr. (Shannon), and Claude. Helen will be fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Angela Nyerges, her granddaughter Brianna Nyerges-Banfield, her brothers William Daigle (Anne), Tom Daigle (Linda), sisters-in-law Jeannette, Ros, Stephanie and Grace. Predeceased by her sister Laura, and brothers Vince and Peter. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, July 2nd from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation .
