Huberdina "Dina'" Langermans Van Olst

(February 4th, 1934 – March 8th, 2015)

Huberdina Wilhelmina (Dina) Van Olst passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8th, 2015, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, the age of 81. Loving wife of John Kleingeld, mother of Jerry and Andy, mother-in-law of Fran and Heather. Adored Oma of Dawn, Ryan, Tyler and David. Dina is also predeceased by her husband Cor Van Olst and she will be fondly remembered by her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Holland and her wonderful Dutch friends in Canada and the United States. She will be forever remembered for her love of family, her compassion of others, great sense of humour and for being there for those in need. She had a very “busy” life and always full of energy. She loved to go to the Dutch card club, visit her many friends, and to cook and deliver a hot bowl of soup or a warm meal when needed, always accompanied with a listening ear and a warm smile. Dina will be dearly missed by all who were touched by her. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, March 13th from 2 – 4 and Saturday, March 14th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Donations will be gratefully accepted for Lakeridge Health Foundation or a charity of your choice.
