Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Saturday February 6th, 2016. Beloved husband of Christina (nee Griffin) for 59 years. Loving father of Siabh (Steve), Dennis, Sean (Jennifer) and the late Brenda (Steve). Cherished grandfather of Sean, Shane, Steven (Brittany), Connor, Ciaran, Declan, Jay and great grandfather of Niamh.
Hugh will be fondly remembered by his extended family in Dublin, Ireland and many friends. Visitation will held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street, West on Friday, February 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GERTRUDE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King Street East, Oshawa) on Saturday February 13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby. Memorial donations to Hearth Place or St. Gertrude’s Building Fund would be appreciated.
