Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side after a valiant 4 year battle with Pancreatic Cancer at Oak Ridges Hospice on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022, at 70 years of age. Loving mother of Anna and Andrew and his wife Katherine. Cherished Babcia of Elyse, Aleksandra, Amelie and Sophie. Beloved partner of Bob Bessey. Dear sister of Zbigniew and his wife Danuta. Irena will be sadly missed by her extended family and her many friends in Poland and Canada. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, August 21st from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oak Ridges Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.oshawafuneralhome.com
