Peacefully at Lakeridge Health – Port Perry on Thursday, March 13th, 2014, one month after celebrating her 99th birthday. Beloved wife of the late James Norton Cowan. Dear sister of Winnifred Wallace and predeceased by her sister Lillie (Toots) Mackness and her brothers Jack, James, William, Clifford and Russell. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and her many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, March 20th, 2014 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, March 21st, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery.
