Jake will certainly be missed, we enjoyed our many skype conversations, and would have loved to meet and know him in person, because he seemed like quite a character (a loveable one). Our thoughts and prayers go to all Jake's family and friends, God comfort and be with you during this time and in the months and years to come. Love In Christ, Don & Tena Vanderpol

Uncle Jake you are now at peace, you will be missed but not forgotten. You fought the cancer bravely for many years even until the end. Not because of a fear of death but for a love of life. We had many good moments uncle Jake but I will never forget holding your hand as you peacefully passed away; I love you uncle Jake. Until we meet again in heaven--goodbye. Stephen, Ashley, Noah, and Abigail.

The essence of a beautiful human being so endearing, a kind-hearted gentleman whose smile and laughter won your heart. I remember our corvette ride Jake with the parade of corvettes, I've never seen you more happy. Thank you for the ride. Farewell. Your purpose here has been fulfilled and you got weary and went to sleep. I will miss you.
