Peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Monday, September 24th, 2012 at 88 years of age. Beloved husband of Kathryn Simmons. Loving father of Stephen and his wife Beverley and Janice and her husband Nick. Proud Grandfather of Graham, Courtney, Danielle, Haley, Ryan, Jennifer, Devin, Brittany, Joshua, William and Mitchell. Jim will be sadly missed by Kathryn’s children Barb and Wayne; Margaret; Michael and Karen; John and Laurie and his many friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, September 27th from 7 – 9 P.M. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 28th at 11:00 A.M. Memorial donations to CNIB or the Durham Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
