Though Uncle Jerry was not my blood relative, I was around the family enough that he became an uncle to me as my childhood friendship with Julie blossomed and grew.
Being around the family was always a blessing, which usually included Uncle Jerry - never without his cowboy hat.
Uncle Jerry was always kind, and I never saw him angry or upset. He had a wonderful, warm smile that always made me feel welcome.
Uncle Jerry, may your soul be at peace and may God provide you with your place in Heaven among your loved ones gone before you, where you will watch over those you have loved and left behind here on Earth.

I first met my Uncle Jerry as a child whilst living with my grandma,
I was also blessed to meet his children, my cousins, Verna, Godwin and Keith and remember the blue house which they all lived in.
My childhood memories of Uncle Jerry though limited, always stayed with me and I was truly blessed to meet him once again at my Aunty Annis in 2019 during a visit to Canada.
Uncles soft smile and gentle spirit now etched in my memory, lives on in my heart.
Rest dear uncle until we meet again on that golden morning with Jesus our Lord.

Uncle Jerry always so energetic, spunky and cheerful, with your timeless sense of style; the great cowboy hats, brightly colored shirts along with your humble spirit made you a truly wonderful and unique uncle, brother and friend. You will be greatly missed.
I remember the last time I saw Uncle in person, back in 1998 when I visited with Aunty Anis, Uncle Felix, Cherry-Ann, Julie and Uncle Jerry spending a full day with them. Uncle Jerry's jovial and funny personality was so uplifting one could not help but smile and laugh around him no matter if you were feeling down and out. I know that he touched many of us in the family hearts with this spirit and will always be remembered for it.
I know that Uncle's entrance into heaven will make the angels smile and his vibrant style will add some more needed flair to the scene.
Go brighten up heaven Uncle! as you did our lives. God bless you. Rest easy .
Lots of Love.

Uncle, I still can’t believe I am writing a tribute because of your passing. Words cannot describe this difficult moment, but for the time I knew you .you was a good friend and uncle and you definitely will be missed
Uncle, you were and will always be an inspiration to myself, the entire family and anyone who have worked with you. You have left a void in the family that will never be filled.
While we mourn today, we also take comfort in the fact that your mission on earth have been fulfilled. We thank the Lord for your life and bid you farewell until we meet again on that glorious and grand day when Jesus comes again from Denis and family

Uncle Jerry you were always gentle, kind, uncomplaining and very generous and you will be truly missed.
You were also very handsome and everyone loved you but it’s your smile and generousity that I remember most.
I remember when you stayed with us at Pumset when we were children; you were always helping out my parents around the home or down at Argyle.
When I grew up with children of my own you walked a whole day with us when we got lost to and around Soufriere You helped to carry Krissy on your shoulders.
Last year we saw you again this time in Canada... what a lovely reunion that was! We reminisced about the old days; You were older, wiser but still the same gentle and generous Man! And that wonderful smile!
I look forward to the day when I see you again and we along with all our loved ones gone before, go home together with Jesus.
Until then, Rest in Peace Uncle Jerry.

"My uncle" that is how I called you when I came to visit you in the hospital. I loved how it would bring a smile to your face. Uncle Jerry was such a kind, gentle and humble man. He always thought of others before himself. Always giving, always sharing and not expecting anything in return. I vow to carry on that legacy in honour of my uncle Jerry.
Now you have gone to sleep and no more pain "My uncle" I can't wait to see you on that great day!!! God bless and keep.
Love your niece Cherryann

Rest up my dearest uncle Jerry! You have endured so much and lived a full life as the peaceful man you are! A quiet, funny, fun person to have around; always slow to anger with anyone. Always wearing his heart on his sleeve. So many wonderful memories uncle; SO MUCH and I'm so happy I got to see you just before God took you home. We all will hold you close at heart, until we meet again. I look forward to seeing you dance up a storm the way you do when you' feeling the good music vibes. No more complaints of pain when we meet again; you will be brand new! In Jesus Name, Amen.
Always your loving niece, Julie xxx
