Passed away at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Friday, March 6th, 2015 at the age of 71. Loving wife of Douglas for 55 years. Loved mother of Janie MacKay (Scott) and Douglas Ash Jr. (Lisa Nicholas-Ash). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Steven MacKay (Stephanie), Mark MacKay (Amanda Paterson) and Darien Ash, and her great-grandchild Peyton MacKay. Dear sister of Pamela Foote (Fred), Gerald Layng (Mary Imeson), Brian Layng (Mary Lynne), Allan Layng and Linda Bird (predeceased). A private graveside service will be held at MOUNT LAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS (21 Garrard Rd., Whitby) on Tuesday, March 10th, 2015. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of the Supportive Care Unit-LHO.
