Last year while sitting in a waiting room at the Oshawa Hospital I met Mrs. Jackson. I first noticed her as she and her husband were making the best of their long wait chatting and chuckling together. We started to talk. She spoke proudly of her family and their life in Oshawa. She told me of her fight years ago with cancer which it appears she fought with grace and grit.  Our conversation eventually got around to hockey and she mentioned her son Jim. I told her he was an acquaintance of my husband and I and we laughed about what a small world it is. I often think of those few moments we shared as she was truly an inspiration!  

May your love live on in your memories.

Dear Sherry, Rick, Jim and Lisa.  Sylvia and I are so very sad for your loss.  I will always remember your Mom as vibrant and athletic, but most importantly as the Mother with such a close and loving family.  Your Mom and Dad meant so very much to me.
