Passed away at the Wynfield Longterm Care, Oshawa on Thursday, October 6th, 2016 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Rudolf. Loving mother of Ena (Jack), Alice and James (Karen), and predeceased by her daughter Bonnie (Craig). Dear sister of Janny and Harry (Carel) and sister-in-law of Geertje. Lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Special thanks to the wonderful staff on Lakeview Park – Wynfield 3rd Floor. Resting at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) with visitation on Tuesday, October 11th from 6 – 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at WESTMINSTER UNITED CHURCH (1850 Rossland Road East, Whitby) on Wednesday, October 12th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Gillie Beans Foundation or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Foundation would be appreciated.
