To Dawn and Family

My sincere condolences on Jack’s passing. I met Jack first at my brother Doug’s marriage to Judy, Dawn’s sister and later at General Motors in the North Main Office. I always found Jack with a smile on his face with the most pleasant personality. A life well lived and I’m sure truly missed. I’m sorry I didn’t make the Memorial Service as I just read his Obituary this evening.

Jim MORISSETTE

I first met Jack Carr in June of 1964. My mother had died that very day, and I needed a place to go. My first impression was that he looked a lot like Clark Kent. Mr. and Mrs. Carr were quite the couple. With her red hair and big laugh, she reminded me of Carol Burnett. I was twelve then. By the time I was eighteen, Jack had become my de facto father; - and I was calling him Dad. He was the first self-made man I'd ever met...... excelling at most everything he'd put his mind to. Dad was exceptionally smart, talented and likeable. Over the past fifty-one years, there's rarely been a day when I haven't thought of him. He introduced me to more of life's good things than I could ever list here. My memories of him could fill a book. Rest in peace Dad.

See You In Heaven.

Jim.
