Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, May 12th, 2016 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Donna for 52 years. Loving father of Sharon Wildeboer (Doug), Judy LeClair (Don) and Michael McFarlane (Jen). Cherished grandpa of Jeremiah, Emma, Elizabeth, Ella and Oliver. Dear brother of Susan Lowery (Karl) and brother-in-law of Joan McFarlane, Glen Davis (Joan), Marion Davis, Delmer Gingrich. Predeceased by brothers; Clarence (Helen), Ralph (Janet), Alvin, Doug and Don, sister-in-law Evelyn and brother-in-law Bruce. He will be dearly missed by 19 nieces and nephews and their families. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, May 14th from 6 – 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 15th from 2 – 3 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery on Monday, May 16th at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (Myelofibrosis) or Sickkids Foundation.
