John "Jack" Mothersill

MOTHERSILL, John “Jack” Patrick Peacefully with his family by his side at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday February 3rd, 2023 at 91 years of age. Predeceased by his beloved wife Isobel. Loving father of Catherine Derasp (Guy), late Thomas, Lori Wright (Marshall), and Lisa Wilson. Cherished Grandpa of Christopher (Karine), Marc (Catherine), Carolyn (Daison), David, Michael, Meagan, Kyle (Tanya), Kelmeny, Sarah (Dan), Richard (Crystal). Great Grandpa of many great grandchildren. John was a General Motors Retiree, working many years at both the Oshawa and St. Therese plants. He was a wonderful family man and many will remember his passion for woodworking, golf, and good friends. He was a man who could, quite literally, fix anything! Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday February 18th, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Service of Remembrance in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. A very special thank you for the wonderful care and compassion given to John by the staff at Chartwell Colonial Retirement Residence and Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Bowmanville.
