John Rule you were my first real friend from our days at Kirktonholme Primary and we shared many adventures on our path to adulthood. I'm glad we kept in touch and Honi Rule is still talked about in New Zealand.
We met your family briefly but were so impressed by the love and friendship shown, Our deepest sympathy to you Anne and the rest of the Rule clan.
Will miss you Mate

To the Rule clan,
Uncle John was a wonderful man who always made me smile. I have fond memories of him with me as a young girl/young adult/new bride and finally with my own family (Rogan still talks about Papa John fondly). He taught us all to live life to the fullest and I will cherish the memories.
Lots of love,
Viv, Chris, Rogan and Caelan.
