Peacefully and surrounded by his loving family, our angel Joseph Otavnik has left us to now be our “guardian angel”. Joseph leaves behind the love of his life of 58 years, Bernada (Nada), his daughter Irene Seetner and her husband Robert (Bob) Brown and his son Joseph (Marie Towns). A gentle, kind, and loving man, he will be missed by many friends and his Slovenian family at Holiday Gardens. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, April 5th, from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. Celebration of life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 6th, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the “Children’s Wish Foundation” or Lakeridge Health Foundation, Oshawa.
