IN THE CARE OF
Oshawa Funeral Home
Joseph Pezzarello, a well-loved and respected family man and friend, died on December 3. 2022. He will be missed by his children Christopher (Karen) and Regina (Stefan). He was a proud Poppa to his grandchildren Alexander, Blake, Miranda and Jude. Joe was married to his best friend and love of his life, Kathleen, for over 54 years. He is survived by brother Donald of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Joe was a proud graduate and XMEN of St. Francis Xavier University. He died on the Feast day of St. Francis Xavier.
Joe dedicated many years serving the Durham Catholic District School Board community. Whether it was in his capacity as teacher, religious consultant or adult faith animator, he brought his faith and love to all who met him. He touched the hearts of many and helped them to realise that we are not alone.
To honour the memory of Joe, do something kind for someone you do not know. Smile at people in the street. Know that God’s love is always available. Live a life of hope and gratitude.
