Joseph Gerard Camille Richard

Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Sunday, December 7th, 2014 at the young age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Mary Anne (nee Cormier). Loving and cherished father of Bernice (Corinna), Gail (Vic) and Paul (Anita). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Mathieu, Natalie, Troy, Grant and Renée. Fondly remembered by his brother Camille and his sisters Delina, Marie Louise, Therese, Eugenie, Rita and their families. Predeceased by his brother Antoine and his sister Rosalie. Missed by his special friend Marguerite LeBlanc. A special Thank You to the staff at Hillsdale Estates, Maple Grove, his caregivers Ever, Mary and Joanne for their wonderful care. Also to Carrie and Yvonne in the Emergency Department and the staff of Lakeridge Health-Oshawa for their compassion and care. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Saturday, December 13th, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. in the Heritage Room. At the family’s request memorial donations to Cuddly Cats Rescue and Sanctuary or the Durham Region Humane Society would be appreciated.
