It is with great sadness we announce Joe passed away at home surrounded and comforted by loved ones.
Beloved son of Joseph (deceased) and Stella Roznik, loving brother of Eric and Nancy (Rob) Gilmour. Wonderful uncle to Michelle and Stephanie Gilmour, and Erin and Evan Roznik (Shelby Boyd).
Joe will be remembered as a passionate athlete. He excelled at playing hockey, ski jumping, basketball and lacrosse. He also found enjoyment in fishing, golf, billiards and cards.
He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
The family would like to thank Joe’s palliative care team for their compassion and assistance during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held on Saturday October 1st from 1pm to 4pm at Oshawa Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe's memory may be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation (Palliative Care).
