SZCZUR, Josephine Teresa “Josie” Passed away peacefully, at Sunnycrest Nursing Home, on September 1, 2018 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Tony for 64 years. Proud mother to Ed Shure (Stephanie), Susie Cox (Jeff), and Sandy Ciarlariello (Nick). Cherished Nonna to Dylan, Bobby, Mackenzie, Andy, Alex, Madeleine, and Samantha. Josephine’s family would like to extend their warm thanks to the wonderful staff of Sunnycrest Nursing Home for all of the care and compassion they gave her. Resting at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). Visitation to take place on Tuesday, September 4th, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday September 5th at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Alzheimer’s Society or Sunnycrest Nursing Home are greatly appreciated.
