Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 80. Predeceased by her husband Cecil (Pic) Pickard. She will be missed by her children: Joanne Thrasher (Bill), Patty Johnston (Paul), Jim Pickard (Carol), 5 grandchildren; Christina, Jeff (Stefanie), Lisa (Craig), Marc and Mike, and 5 great grandchildren; Aiden, Austin, Aleah, Owen and Logan. Special thanks to Marie Rogers for her care and compassion. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Tuesday, December 14th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 15th at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Groveside Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
