We will miss this sweet lady.
Her smile, her laughter and always welcoming ways.
Always wondering where i got my energy to be working on my gardens for hours. She was a very special neighbour for over 6 years and i will miss you Karen, so very much.😥

It spent many days at Karen's house as a young girl as a close friend of Leanne. Tried my first pierogies in her kitchen. As an adult we met again at Duplate and worked there for many years together. A lovely woman and a real straight shooter. I have many fond memories of Karen and her family. Lots of love to Al and the girls xxxx

Aunt Karen was such a loving and generous individual. When the Copithorne's and I were leaving on a trip, she graciously accepted to dog-sit Cooper. He fell in love with her and even snuggled up with her each night. My husband and I absolutely loved Karen and her giving heart. She was the "cool" aunt, who always had a funny/witty remark. We will miss her very much.

Lots of love,

Caroline, David and Cooper Copithorne xoxo

I had the utmost regard and respect for
my sister-in-law Karen especially this past
year. She was dealt a rotten hand yet she
held her cards closely to her chest and
quietly hoped for a trump or a wildcard
to improve her fate.
This was not to be.
She bravely played that hand with strength,
perseverance and dignity until she knew it
was time to fold and bow out gracefully.
A game; well played.
A life; well lived.
Rest In Peace Karen and God bless.

Aunt Karen always used to tell me she looked after me when I was a baby. And then I had the chance to look after her babies: Alison and Leanne when they were little. What I remember most about aunt Karen is her bold, enthusiastic, bubbly personality. She was always wearing a smile and had time for a hug. It has been a long time since we had seen each other, but my memories of her were always fond ones. My heart is with you all, and I often reminisce about past experiences with my Ontario family and relatives. Sending my love and condolences from beautiful British Columbia . Lisa Chase

Her kind heart and her love of the shopping channel. Most of all her wonderful laugh and her generous nature. She was absolutely a beautiful person who was always smiling. She will be sadly missed. Sending love from Ireland. RIP Aunt Karen. Xoxox
