Karin Saaremets

In loving memory of Karin Saaremets 93 years old who passed away peacefully on December 4, 2011 at Lakeridge Health Whitby with family at her side. Beloved wife of Felix predeceased 1989. Daughter of the late Karl and late Emma Arroso of Estonia. Loving mother to Marit Scanlon (Paul) of Oman, Taavi (Brenda) of Sudbury, and Aiki Skakavac (Jovo) of Oshawa. Cherished grandmother of Aili (Adam Arifi) of Cambridge and Taavi Jr. (Meghan) of Sudbury. Proud great grandmother of Ella. The Family expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Cedarcroft Retirement Place Residence in Oshawa for their kind and compassionate care during our mother’s stay. At Karin’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at Thornton Crematorium. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
