Larry was my captain (as a senior man actor!) at my very first fire. There rarely was a day on shift when he didn’t have a smile on his face. His roast beef dinners were a staple on our old 24 hr Sunday’s. You were one of a kind and will be missed big fella.

Been struggling to deal with this great loss as every one has especially Wendy and Larry's family. The loss of the best guy to have your back at a call or at the ball field. Never gave up and gave his all in life and to everyone he touched. Last time the Fire Fighters that where hired in 1976 got together was in June this year and I will share this photo.

Our deepest condolences from Rick and Laurie Dancey and family.

Wendy and family,

We’re very sorry to hear about Larry’s passing, just wanted to let you know you and your family are in our thoughts.

Larry was definitely a “one of a kind” man and will be greatly missed by us and all your old neighbours on Queensdale.

An amazing man and friend. Always the positive and most sportsmanlike at bowling. His hilarious sense of humour will be missed by all.

We are so sad Larry has passed. I find it hard to imagine you not around anymore. We laughed with tears at your jokes your such a funny guy and now we cry with tears and can’t imagine life without you. I am so happy to have shared good times with you Mr Larry and with Miss Wendy it will not be the same with you gone. I will take care of my buddy so please don’t worry about her. We love you lots and will meet again one day. Love you always and forever my friend. Penny and Tom xo❤️
