Passed away at Extendicare – Oshawa on Monday, September 23rd, 2013, at the age of 87. Loving husband of Bertha. Predeceased by his first wife Mary. Cherished father of Barbara Hanson and Louise Ripley. Step-father of Carolyn Dillon, Nora Myers, Sharon Gay, Terry Pakosta and the late Debbie McQuoid. He will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lewis is survived by his sister Lois. Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion – Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
