Passed away peacefully at the Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on
Friday, June 13th, 2014 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of David (Jane), Kelly Mackintosh and partner Stephane Bergeron and John (Catherine McAvoy). Cherished grandmother of Lindsey, Lauren, Sarah, Catherine, Avery, Kelsey, James, Patrick, Maria, Kathleen and Clare. Dear sister of James McKirdy (Marion) and Edward McKirdy (Helen). Will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, June 17th, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GERTRUDE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King Street East) on Wednesday, June 18th at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation - Cancer Care or ALS Canada.
