Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 6, 2023. Predeceased by her husband Antonino Pestana Henriques, her sister Leontina Fernandes Braz and brother Lino Fernandes. Loving mom of Clifford (Pina), Sydney and Jennifer (Andrew). Cherished Vovo to Isaiah, Noah, Nathan, Sebastian and Sarah. Maria will be deeply missed by her brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and many family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday December 15 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby on Saturday December 16 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
