Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Rouge Valley Health System Ajax Pickering on Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Allen and daughter Elaine Dwyer. Survived by her loving daughter Corinne Smith and son-in-law Dave Dwyer. Cherished Nana of Dara Visconti (Marc), Gregory, Caitlin Bell (Jordan), Ellice, Mark, Jillian and Great-Nan of Preston, Cora and Brynn. Predeceased by her siblings, John and James Goodes. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Marie will be remembered for her sense of humour, tenacity, outgoing personality, her involvement in community, church and her dedication to family. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, August 9th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
