Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, December 21st, 2013 in her 90th year. Dearly beloved wife of John for 67 years. Beloved and devoted mother of Sharlene and her husband Tom Mitchell, and Angela and her husband Paul Bosy. Cherished and adored Grandmother of Allison and her husband Gary Begner, Courtney and her husband Robert Storey, Robert and Steven Bosy and great-grandmother of Leah Storey. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Mary Whiteoak and stepfather Harold Cox, and granddaughter Marci Mitchell and sister Helen Doner. Will be missed by nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, December 26th from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Friday, December 27th from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service which will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lakeridge Health Foundation – Cancer Centre or a charity of your choice.
