Mary Donalda Dwyer

(January 20th, 1934 – April 30th, 2016)

Passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband Donald (2004). Loving mother of David (predeceased Elaine) and John (Valerie). Beloved sister of Ethel Gamble. Cherished Grandma and Nanny to Caitlin, Ellice, Jillian, Scott and Allyson. Generously spoiled great grandchildren Cora, Brynn and Violet. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary started her working career at General Motors, retiring with over 30 years at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Her favourite past times included golf, bridge, Sudoku, crosswords and travelling. Mary always put her family first and was instrumental in organizing numerous family functions. A Celebration of Life will take place at the family residence in Oshawa. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Breast Cancer, Canada.
