Mary Haughian Forbes

Mary Elizabeth Forbes of Fairview Lodge, and a long-time resident of Brooklin, Ontario, died early Tuesday, April 21st, 2015, at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa. Predeceased by Harold Francis (1928-2002). “Marie/Mary” is survived by her three sisters, Margaret Heath (Norm – 1967), Joan Morris (Ron – 2006) and Anne Kostyk (Ollie); her two sisters-in-law, Gladys (Jim) and Kathleen (Joe); her brother-in-law Murray (Barb); her ten loving children, Mary Liz (Guy – 1999), Susan, Harry (Patricia), Joanne (Steve), Peter (Toni), Rosemary (Jamie), Frances (Dave), Daniel (Anne-Marie), James (Marites), and David (Julie); her twenty-five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Family has always brought Marie great joy with moments together treasured and filled with much laughter. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, April 27th from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at ST. LEO’S PARISH (130 Watford St., Brooklin) on Tuesday, April 28th at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Fairview Lodge.
