She was a dedicated IODE member, having been a provincial councillor, national councillor and National Officer, in addition to her involvement in her local chapter, IODE Golden Jubilee. I am shocked and saddened by the passing of your Mother. She rode with me to the Hamilton  offices of IODE Ontario numerous times. I aways enjoyed her company.

I am so sorry to hear of the tragic passing of my IODE sister, Mary. I got to know her so well at conventions and she and I had some wonderful interactions. I would have been there for her funeral, unfortunately I am on an IODE two-day meeting. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to her children and grandchildren and entire family. I will miss her. Rest in peace, Mary.

Suzanne, Gordon & Elliot,  we are thinking of you and your families today. We wish we could be there. Aunt Mary was so wonderful. We love you all! Pascale, Phil, Elyse, Lauren & Amelie.

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. Mary and I had long talks at the library. I met her at St. George's Memorial church in Oshawa. She will be missed. Big hugs to you all.

My thoughts are with Mary's family at this sad time.  She was a customer of mine at the post office and she always had time for a chat. I will miss her friendly smile.

How shocked and saddened Bob and I were to hear of Mary's untimely passing. I met her only briefly, but feel she is part of my extended family through Leanne's stories and Elliott's tales.  She welcomed Leanne into the Wardlaw clan and loved having her at the house.
Mary and I are the same age,and I feel that she (also) was a a young "senior" who enjoyed her choir, her family, her music, her travels her grandchildren and her weekly routines.  Death always comes too soon and too fast. 
To the family, we send our love and prayers.  She taught each of you well, and you will survive this tragedy, - but,-  life will never again be quite the same.

It is with extreme sadness and shock that we hear the passing of your wonderful mother under such tragic circumstance. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. It must have been very shocking for all of you. I worked with Mary on committees at the YWCA many years ago, and just reconnected with her this year at the Conant Street branch of the Seniors Centre when we were both waiting for friends to join us in the cafeteria. We had a good chat about the work we did at the YW. Just last Tuesday she walked into the cafeteria, and we acknowledged one another with a smile and a nod.  It truly is disconcerting how quickly life can change. Sincere sympathy to all.

So very sorry that you have lost your mom.  I spoke to her many times and she always had a smile and a good word to say
