Passed away peacefully at Toronto East General on Sunday, March 06th, 2016 in her 81st year. Devoted Mother of Paul Weinert and Donna White. Loving Nana to Brandon, Amber, Justin, P.J. and Cameron and Great-Nana to Cayleb, Haeven and Bentley. Beloved sister of Helen Gustaw, Paul McGovern (Brenda) and Mary Layes. Predeceased by her sister Dorothy and her parents, Hughie and Theresa McGovern. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, March 8th from 6 – 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at ST. FRANCIS DE SALES (1001 Ravenscroft Road, Ajax) on Wednesday, March 9th at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
