I was really sorry to hear of this terrible tragedy. I remember Meryll in my gr. 9 class being kind to everyone, and she was the type of person who would brighten other people’s day. I remember a time when she wrote me a thoughtful note, which I put beside my desk for several years, and would look at from time to time. I remember her being caring towards other people in the class. The many great friends that loved her shows the caring person that she was. I send my prayers and deepest condolences to Meryll’s sisters, family, and friends,

My dearest beautiful Meryll,
I am so saddened to hear the tragic news. I remember many evenings and Saturday afternoons you spent sitting at my kitchen counter chatting with me, while all the other kids scurried to the basement. You always took the time to smile, chat and share conversation together. You will be missed. You are truly a beautiful soul.
Love and strength to your family,

My sweet Meryll,
I can hear your laugh so vividly every time I think of you. Your personaly was a special one, and I can honestly say I have never met someone like you. You were the person to always want everyone else happy before yourself, despite all the dark times you went through. I love that about you. A real heart of gold. You deserved more than what the world led you to. I wish you held on longer. I wish we all did a better job in being our sister’s keeper. I wish you felt the love that you needed to keep you stronger. Seeing you be taken away today was a shattering moment. This hurts way too much, but you will always make me smile just by the thought of the beautiful person you were to all of us on earth. Your beautiful spirit will carry on.
I love you girl !
❤️
