“Safe in the arms of Jesus” GREENE, Miriam Kathleen Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Sunday, March 3rd, 2013 at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of the late Sherman Greene. Dear mother of Cheryl (Cam) Glazier and Mark (Alexandra) Greene. Adored grandmother of Holly, Kristi, Brett, Cody and Owen. Will also be lovingly missed by mother Kathleen Pickard and sister Esther (Herbert) Ritter, as well as extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, March 6th, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, (300 Rossland Rd. E., Oshawa) on Thursday, March 7th at 1:30p.m. Interment at Thornton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Teen Challenge GTA Women’s Centre or Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
