Peacefully at Hillsdale Estates on Thursday, January 5th, 2017 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Albert (AB) Barnes. Loving mother of Donna (John Wiskin). Dear Grandma of Terri-Lynn (Scott Meisner). Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Keith and John Taggart. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, January 8th from 2 – 4 and on Monday, January 9th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
