Peacefully at The Village of Taunton Mills on Monday, October 1st, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Tom (1997). Loving mother of Carole and her husband Paul Rousseau, and Wendy and her husband John Woodward. Dear Nan of Andrea, Tom, John and Jeff, and Great Nan of Zack, Aimee, Hailey, Sarah, Jack, Amelia, Jacob and Jayden. Dear sister of Betty McIntyre (Ray). Predeceased by her parents Tom and Annie Bowers, her brother Sam Bowers (Vi) and sister Sparky Corby (Bob). The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of The Village of Taunton Mills, Claremont Wing for the excellent care, kindness and compassion shown to Peggy over the last several years. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, October 5th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, SickKids Foundation, Labatt Family Heart Centre or Grandview Children’s Centre would be appreciated.
