After a brief illness at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, November 16th, 2012 in his 93rd year. Dear father of Judy Poyle and her partner Keith of England, and Kathryn and her husband Barry Ward of California. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Helen and her husband Richard, Tracey, Jason, Jennifer and her husband Scott, Matthew, and great grandchildren James, Leigh, Catherine, Gavin, Ryan, Anouk and Megan. Dearly missed by best friend Joan and her family. Fondly remembered by family and friends in the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, November 21st from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
