When I first moved to Oshawa in 1949, Rich lived on McLauglin Blvd as we did for a short while. I got to know Rich in playing softball in Connaught Park with those two practices a week and two games a week. The last time I saw him was at the Sports Hall of Fame dinner this year. Rich and I had good camaraderie. He will be missed. Sincerely, Tim Nelson
