Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, October 21st, 2013 at the age of 62. Beloved husband to Louise. Loving father of Katherine “Katie” (Brad Hetherington) and Rachel (Tyler Harrison). Proud grandpa to William and Jack. Robert is survived by his brothers Charles, Arthur and David. Predeceased by parents Rose and James and siblings Jim, Fred, Barbara and William. He will also be greatly missed by all of his “fur-babies” – Oscar, Rudy, Dougie and Daisy. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Friday, October 25th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 P.M. A memorial of Robert’s life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre. A special thank you to the palliative care nursing staff at Lakeridge Health for all their care and support.
