To Mrs. Jean Wiltshire, and Suzanne, and Beverly: Friends, I was sorry to hear through the newspaper obituary of Rod's passing. I regret your loss and that I was not able to speak with you personally since I did not learn about Rod until after his funeral service had been held. I have many fond memories of the Wiltshire family from childhood. Not as many in recent years but generally whenever there was the occasion to visit my home church there was the smile and hearty greeting from Rod, "How's Dan?" I always felt his genuine good will and the handshake that went along with his smile. Although I know your loss is a challenge, I hope you will be able to recall many memories of a long life shared. Carry them with you and celebrate all that was best in Rod's life. I pray the peace of Christ be with you.

Dear Jean:

Just heard today of Rod's passing. I extend to you and your family my deepest condolences. I have many good memories of Rod and yourself when we attended Albert Street Church. I also remember his Mother and heard of the work at the church that his Father did.
May you find peace in the knowledge that you had Rod with you for so many years.
