Passed away suddenly at his residence in Oshawa on Friday, May 26th, 2017, at the age of 76. Loving father to Raymond, Michael, Lesley-Ann and Andrew. Poppa Roy to Stephanie, Raechel, Ryan, Robyn and Dylan. Great grandfather to Amiya, Jayce and Kamal. Survived by his brother Basil (Cynthia) and sister Lurleen. Predeceased by sisters Joyce and Beryl, and his brothers Ronald and Gilbert. Uncle to several nieces and nephews and a great friend to many. Roy was a skilled welder with General Motors of Canada for over 30 years. He loved fishing, woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, June 9th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, June 10th at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery.
