Peacefully after a brief illness at her residence, with her family by her side on Saturday, July 11th, 2015 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Aubrey Delano Nickerson. Cherished mother of Sherry Lane (Morgan), Darrell (Ella), Dwayne (Helen) and Brent (Jennifer). Devoted Grams of Darrell, Justin, Jeremy, Michelle, Ryan, Shayne, Kristy, Dale, Deanna and Kevin and her 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Betty, June and the late Gordon and Lorraine. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, July 14th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 15th at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to Sickkids Foundation would be appreciated.
