I am truly heartbroken to hear of Sandy’s passing. Sandy and I spent many wonderful years together at Cedarbrae Collegiate and Mowat Collegiate. She was a kind soul and had a heart of gold. Sandy quietly went about her day without a complaint, always a gentle smile on her face - always behind the scenes helping others. It was a privilege working with Sandy. I cherish my many happy memories with her and send my sincere condolences to Sandy's family.

While it has a long time since I have seen Sandy, I spent my childhood with her and her two sisters, Rita and Monica. My deepest sympathy to Sandy's husband and two boys and of course your mom, Mary or as I always referred to her as Mrs Mayers. My thoughts are with you all at this time. XOXO

Please accept my condolences regarding the loss of Sandy. I have known Sandy for many years throughout her career at the school board. We often shared stories about our children as I have two boys the about the same ages as James and Kevin. I know she loved her family very much and was so proud of her boys. On top of being a terrific mother she was an excellent employee and it was a pleasure to work with her. She will be greatly missed.

Sandy had one of the kindest souls I have ever come across in my life. She always had a smile on her face and was always willing to help. I really enjoyed my conversations with her about raising children. She adored her kids; my thoughts and prayers go out to them.

My heart goes out the Sandy's family. Sandy was such a wonderful person. I will cherish the time I spent with Sandy. I worked at Mowat with her for nearly 20 years. I also scrapbooked with Sandy for years and we loved going away on Scrapbook weekends together with our scrapbook friends. I have a lot of very fond memories and pictures of Sandy. I am grateful to have had Sandy as my dear friend.
