Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with her loving family at her side on May 15th, 2011, at the age of 83. Predeceased by her loving husband Tom. Shirley leaves behind children Karen (Harry), Kim (Bill) and Ken (Kim). Adored Gramma of Heather, Maureen (Greg) and Trevor. Cherished Great Gramma “Gee-Gee” of Owen, Dhany, John Paul , and one other on the way. Shirley is survived by her sisters Margaret, Joyce and Maude, and will also be missed by George, Louise, Chris and their families. Shirley loved life and had many friends whom will miss her gentle ways. Friends may call on OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Friday, May 20th from 11:00 a.m. until time of Celebration of Shirley’s Life in the Chapel at 12:00 noon. Donations will be gratefully accepted for SickKids Hospital.
