Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on May 20th, 2011, at the age of 70. Best friend and soul mate of Linda for 43 years. Devoted father of Holly Harris, Stephanie Reid (Gordie), Walter Harris, and grandchildren Meghan, Jeremy, Michael, Sebastian and Jesse. Brothers George Harris, Ralph (Rebecca) Harris, Sterling (Bertha) Harris, June (Silas) Ivany. Predeceased by parents James and Olive Harris, sisters Evelyn Harris and Rita Welsh. Fondly remembered by his nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends. The family will receive friends at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234) for visitation on Monday, May 23rd from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 24th at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
